Remember how excited you were as a child opening presents on Christmas morning? That's how we as a staff felt opening the boxes of shoes we received last week!! Yes, they are finally here and as you see in our photo we already feel faster and stronger! We now have Pearl Izumi, Newton, and Zoot will be here next week. Our highlights on the Pearl shoes come from the all seamless upper, 360 degree lacing technology, and 'skydex' forefoot. The Newton shoes "provide greater shock absorption, greater energy return while promoting the natural and more efficient forefoot strike of barefoot running" (Newtonrunning.com). Also, coming soon, is the Zoot Triathlete shoe. This shoe has technology that makes it easy for the triathlete to get into and out of the shoe, drains to avoid water retention, extra bio mechanics, and has sockless wear.

Remember to periodically check the wear on your running shoes to make sure you still have as much shock absorption as possible to reduce your risk of injury.
